Anchor Point Living was founded on a simple belief: every young adult aging out of foster care deserves a safe place to land, a plan to succeed, and people who believe in them.
Our Story
Anchor Point Living was established to address a critical gap in services for young adults transitioning out of Texas foster care. We recognized that too many young people were aging out of the system without the housing stability, life skills, or support networks needed to thrive independently.
Our founders — professionals with deep roots in child welfare, social services, and community development — came together with a shared vision: to create a program that treats every young adult as a whole person, not just a case number.
Today, Anchor Point Living operates as a licensed Supervised Independent Living (SIL) provider in full compliance with Texas Extended Foster Care requirements, partnering with DFPS, Single Source Continuum Contractors (SSCCs), case managers, and community organizations across the state.

Anchor Point Living operates in full compliance with Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) Extended Foster Care requirements. As a licensed Supervised Independent Living (SIL) provider, we meet all standards for housing, supervision, documentation, and resident services.
